Assessment
The module examination, which consists of four partial examinations, is written, whereby this takes the form of written examinations in the lectures and asynchronous written examinations in the laboratories (e.g. academic term paper or lesson analysis). While the written examinations for the lectures are primarily concerned with questions of knowledge and transfer, the asynchronous written examinations for the laboratories include reflection and processing of the practical experience gained in the courses in history and geography as academic disciplines and their didactic implementation. In the module examination, the module parts are examined individually. In the event of a negative assessment of the overall module, any positively assessed module parts will be credited the next time you take the module examination. Please note, however, that a negative assessment will also be included in the count of examination attempts in this case. According to the examination regulations, three attempts without passing will result in a block for three examination dates. (see also Article 6, Paragraph 4 of the current examination regulations).

Evaluation criteria
The overall assessment for the module is determined on the basis of the performance in the four partial examinations. The weighting of the individual assessments corresponds to the proportion of credit points for each individual course in the overall module. In accordance with the examination regulations of the faculty, the assessment for each individual course belonging to the module must also be positive for a positive overall assessment of the module performance. If individual partial examinations are assessed negatively, only those partial examinations that were assessed negatively must be repeated. Criteria for assigning grades: - Correctness and clarity of answers, correct command of language, ability to synthesise, judgement and ability to make references to the topics covered. - Ability to collaborate, creativity, critical thinking and synthesis.
