Master in

Innovation and Research for Social Work and Social Education

By choosing this study programme, you will gain competences in the management of social services - state-funded or private - and you will also improve your research skills.

Course description

South Tyrol has a long tradition of being attentive to the needs and the well-being of its citizens. At a time in history in which the resources allocated for welfare are increasingly limited, administrators have to combine the effectiveness of social support programmes with their financial sustainability. The goal of this study programme is to train the professionals who will be able to innovate the welfare state. The peculiarity of this course is precisely the development of a framework aimed at developing innovative methods of introduction and management of social services.

Working and studying at the same time is a big challenge, but made possible through the structure and flexibility of this master. It was my desire to study at a small university in order to benefit from the good student-professor ratio. Moreover, the course prepares you for a PhD in the field of social work or social education.
