Library Services (available to unibz students and external library users)

Library Services are accessible exclusively after reservation through the online booking system.

You can book any of the available 30 minutes slots during our opening hours.

Bookings need to be made 12 hours in advance and you can only book one slot per day. Your student or library card will be programmed to open the main entrance door and the library door.

You are only allowed to enter individually through each door, make sure that no one tries to enter behind you. After your slot time is up, you need to leave the library.

The available services are:

  • Access to the reserved books and loaning them with the selfcheck machine
  • Access to the books of the Reserve Collections (attention, not all books of the Reserve Collections will always be available)
  • Access to the photocopy and scan service, printing is available only for unibz students
  • Access to electronic resources for external users (bring your own device)

For external users: If you don’t have a library card yet, please contact us via library@unibz.it

Academic personnel can enter the library with their campus card during our regular opening times. If you need a room to consult with a student, the student needs to book a 30-minute Library Services slot and write an e-mail to library@unibz.it indicating the need for a room.

Please book your library services slot here.

Study Seats (available only for unibz students)

Please note: Due to the new measurements we can no longer offer study seats. Once this is again possible, we will reactivate the booking calendar.

Online Services

All our online services are available from home: the catalogue, reserve collections, databases, ebooks, ejournals

In order to access subscribed resources remember to activate the VPN or to use the links provided in the catalogue or on the library homepage.

We provide access to a huge collection in many disciplines. If you don’t have access to a required reading as it is available only in print format, we may try to find an alternative title available online.

New Resources

Recently added books are available here.

Many providers have decided to temporarily open parts of their catalogue/service.

Check here the list of resources temporarily or newly added to the catalogue.

If you're not able to come to our campus libraries to pick up your requested books and willing to cover the costs, we will send them to your home address.

To do this you need to choose "Personal delivery – home address" as your pickup location when requesting the book in our library catalogue.

Afterwards we will contact you via email in order to organize your delivery.
