The inter-library loan and document delivery services allow users to request books and copies of articles that do not make up part of the University Library’s collection or can be found anywhere else in South Tyrol.
If you would like to make a request, you must fill in the online form:
Important: the information that is marked with an asterisk is obligatory. Orders with missing or incorrect information cannot be dealt with.
Requests are normally dealt with the following working day and sent to the library that has the book/article. Once this has been done, the University Library has no control over how long it will take to receive the book/article.
Normally, copies of articles arrive within a few days, while for books the time can vary from 10 to 20 days.
Once the material has been received by the Library, the user is sent an email. The documents can then be picked up during the Library's regular opening hours at the Information Desk.
Only after 3 months a library user can order the same title again.
Normally books requested through the inter-library loan system can be taken away for three weeks.

The Interlibrary Loans & Document Delivery service can be used by any library that is located outside the province of South Tyrol.
Requests for Document Delivery should be made through NILDE, in order to maintain the reciprocal nature of the service. The service is free for institutions that have signed an agreement or other contract with the Library System of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and for libraries that belong to NILDE.
Requests from libraries that do not belong to the NILDE network and requests for inter-library loans can be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
