Tuesday, 6 December 2022, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the mafia assassinations that took place in Italy, in the Aula Magna of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, from 11.00 to 13.00, the following public event organised by the Falcone Foundation under the auspices of the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano will take place:
"Un patto per la legalità. La memoria di tutti"
The work "L'albero dei Tutti" by the Val Gardena artist Gregor Prugger, who created the temporary city installation in memory of all the victims of the Mafia, will be exhibited in front of the unibz administration building at Franz-Innerhofer-Platz 8 until the end of January 2023. The work has already been exhibited in Palermo and in Rome and will continue its journey to other Italian and European cities.
The South Tyrolean regional government and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano have decided to support the event, which is intended to help deepen the theme of the rule of law, and the Falcone Foundation has set itself the goal of working primarily with schools, businesses, and associations to jointly promote various initiatives to commemorate the fight against the Mafia.
This project is an act of civil society cultural cooperation, an interventionist and joint production process between leading and different parts of the country, from Palermo to Bolzano, to counteract criminality through the spread of art and culture.
The event will take place in Italian.
