The Research Committee:

1. is in charge of planning and coordinating research activities at the University;
2. proposes to the University Council the resources to be destined to research activities, respecting the limits allocated by the budget;
3. establishes, according to the University’s development plan, the criteria for assigning financial resources destined to research activities;
4. advises on the annual programme for research activities:
5. proposes to the University Council two professors as members of the Quality Committee, one belonging to the hard sciences, the other to the human sciences.
