The course offers a detailed examination of the legal institutions of enterprises and companies (partnerships, corporations, cooperatives and sports companies). A theoretical and practical approach will be followed to enable students to understand the foundations and main characteristics of the institutions covered.

Bildungsziele
ILO (Intended Learning Outcomes) ILO 1 - Knowledge and understanding ILO 1.1 Italian tourism legislation, also in relation to the legal framework of the European Union ILO 1.2 Sources of commercial law ILO 1.3 Concept of enterprise and company. ILO 1.4 Legislation relating to entities, consortia and cooperatives. ILO 1.5 Commercial law actors (primarily consumers and businesses) operating in the tourism, sport and events sectors ILO 1.6 Concept and regulation of entrepreneurs, with reference to both the general statute and special rules applicable to specific categories of businesses (e.g. sports clubs). ILO 1.7 functioning of partnerships and corporations ILO 1.8 interpretation of sources of law, in particular sources relating to tourism and sport, in European, national and regional contexts. ILO 2 - Ability to apply knowledge and understanding ILO 2.1 Legal institutions of commercial law and their effects ILO 2.2 Critical evaluation of processes and dynamics in small, medium and large enterprises, considering, where possible, those active in the tourism and sports sectors ILO 2.3 Real cases arising from the judicial application of the rules ILO 2.4 Legal institutions specific to entrepreneurs and European, state and provincial legal sources ILO 2.5 Regulation of relations between public and private entities ILO 2.6 Basic concepts useful for following courses in economics, business and administration ILO 3 - Independent judgement ILO 3.1 to identify the most relevant variables to be used when making decisions in complex situations ILO 3.2 finding the necessary additional information in databases, regulatory sources and scientific bibliographies; ILO 3.3 to use logical reasoning and connect information and analytical tools in order to find solutions ILO 4 - Independent judgement (Communication skills) ILO 4.1 The achievement of this objective will be assessed through written exams, individual and group assignments and the final degree thesis. ILO 5 - Learning skills (framework A4c) ILO 5.1 Ability to find and make use of information from databases, research studies, laws, regulations and standards that are applied in professional life;

Art der Prüfung
Written intermediate exam (partial exam) concerning Module 1 The written final exam assesses ILOs 1 - 5. When calculating the final mark, the percentage weights (50%) will be assigned to each examination.

Bewertungskriterien
The exam is evaluated as follows: • 3 open questions to be chosen from 5 questions available (max 24/30): each answer gets 0 to 8 points • case (max 6/30): the solution gets 0 to 6 points
