"Development of an exploratory system which can find similar patterns between entities (users, patients, etc.) and provide case-based reasoning (i.e, explanations) for the found similarities. In particular, the algorithm that will be implemented has to run on multi-dimensional data, which consist of any kind of participating entities (i.e. patients, drugs, and diseases, or else users, movies, and movie categories, etc.). The algorithm should be able to transfer the data from a relational database into Neo4j graph database. That is, the algorithm should be able to run on Heterogeneous Information Networks (HINs) and should use meta paths to infer similarities among entities, etc. The system should also provide explanations using meta paths. The graphs used can be directed/undirected and weighted/unweighted."
