The event brings together scholars, artists, and civil society actors to engage in dialogue, co-creation, and reflection on democratic processes in contemporary society. The objectives are to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between academia, the arts and civil society while exploring cultural and creative tools for analyzing social phenomena. The event is organized together with the Bolzano Art Weeks and contributes to its “Remapping LAND/marks” broad thematic by rethinking the symbolic and spatial dimensions of democracy promoting participatory engagement through interactive formats. Democracy Remapped is a citizens' laboratory — a participatory platform that invites public engagement and co-creation. Through open discussions, performances, and interactive sessions, the event encourages active involvement from diverse audiences, fostering a shared space for democratic reflection and experimentation.
