Wie trägt anthropologische Forschung zu sozialpädagogischen Interventionen bei? Dieser Kurs soll den Studierenden nützliche Einblicke in anthropologische Ansätze und Themen sowie ethnografische Methoden vermitteln und sie zu Reflexion und kritischem Denken über kulturelle Unterschiede, soziale Ungerechtigkeiten und Vielfalt in heutigen interkulturellen Gesellschaften anregen. Vorlesungen, Aktivitäten und Diskussionen werden den „öffentlichen Wert” anthropologischer Forschung als Grundlage für sozialpädagogische Interventionen hervorheben.

Themen der Lehrveranstaltung
Anthropologische Ansätze zu kulturellen Unterschieden, sozialer Ungleichheit und Diversität. Konzept von Kultur(en), Praxis, Kosmologien/Ontologien, Kolonialismus, kultureller Relativismus, inter- und transkulturelle Perspektive. Ethnografische Methoden und „Anthropologie als Bildung“. Angewandte und öffentliche Anthropologie: Anthropologie von/für soziale Dienste und Bildung. Habitus und Praxistheorie: Embodiment, soziale Strukturen, Gruppen und Hierarchie. Hegemonie, Macht und Biopolitik: institutionelle Handlungsfähigkeit und Subjektivität. Körper, Geschlecht und Familie. Migration, Diaspora, Globalisierung. Strukturelle Gewalt, Intersektionalität und Empowerment.

Bildungsziele
Wissen und Verständnis • Kenntnisse über grundlegende Themen, Ansätze und Methoden der anthropologischen Forschung • Kenntnisse über spezifische Konzepte der anthropologischen Forschung, wie z. B. Kultur(en), kultureller Relativismus, Interkulturalität, Macht • Erwerb einer angemessenen wissenschaftlichen Sprache zur Beschreibung und Analyse soziokultureller Phänomene, um sozialpädagogische Interventionen zu fördern und zu organisieren. Anwendung von Wissen und Verständnis • Fähigkeit, Konzepte der anthropologischen Forschung auf sozialpädagogische Kontexte anzuwenden • Fähigkeit, anthropologische Ansätze und Konzepte auf die Analyse und das Verständnis sozialpädagogischer Praktiken sowohl im institutionellen als auch im alltäglichen Kontext anzuwenden • Fähigkeit, akademisches Wissen und die grundlegenden Ansätze und Konzepte der anthropologischen Forschung auf die eigene persönliche und berufliche Erfahrung als Sozialpädagoge anzuwenden. Urteilsvermögen • Entwicklung von kritischem und unabhängigem Denken • Entwicklung einer reflexiven Selbstwahrnehmung in Bezug auf Kategorien und Praktiken der sozialpädagogischen Arbeit. Kommunikationsfähigkeiten • Fähigkeit, die grundlegenden Elemente wissenschaftlichen Schreibens zu erkennen. • Fähigkeit, eine korrekt strukturierte kurze wissenschaftliche Präsentation zu entwickeln. • Fähigkeit, an wissenschaftlich fundierten Diskussionen teilzunehmen und eine fundierte Meinung zu äußern. • Fähigkeit, in einem akademischen Umfeld angemessen zu kommunizieren. Lernfähigkeiten • Fähigkeit, das im Studium erworbene Wissen im Umgang mit sozialen Arbeitsbereichen selbstständig zu erweitern. • Fähigkeit, neue Ansätze und theoretische Konzepte zu erwerben, um selbstverständliche Kategorien und die Vielfalt soziokultureller Praktiken zu analysieren, zu dekonstruieren und zu verstehen.

Art der Prüfung
Die Bewertung basiert auf einer mündlichen Abschlussprüfung (ca. 30 Minuten), die zu 100 % in die Endnote einfließt. Studierende werden gebeten, 6 Artikel oder Buchkapitel aus der Bibliografie vorzubereiten.

Bewertungskriterien
Verständnis der Inhalte der Vorlesungen und der wissenschaftlichen Texte. Kohärenz und Klarheit bei der geforderten Texte während der individuellen Präsentation sowie während der Abschlussprüfung. Kritisches Denken bei der Diskussion der in den Vorlesungen und in den wissenschaftlichen Texten vorgebrachten Argumente.
