Nach Studienaufenthalten in London, Paris und Madrid hat Markus Warasin an der Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck in Politischer Philosophie und Ideengeschichte promoviert, sowie an der Université Libre de Bruxelles einen Master in Internationaler Politik erworben. Er st leitender Beamter des europäischen öffentlichen Dienstes und arbeitet seit 2005 im Europäischen Parlament,
