The course, aimed at students of all academic years, aims to provide an introduction to the writing skills required for the different types of texts required in the academic context (cover letter, internship report, summary texts, argumentative texts, etc.).
Lessons are structured in workshop mode and aim to provide students with the necessary tools for writing correct, coherent, cohesive and communicatively effective texts.

Unterrichtsform
Each lesson consists of one or more introductory theoretical parts and exercises, both individual and group, which are discussed together and which, at the end of the course, will form the basis for the student's portfolio of activities.

Bildungsziele
Students will delve into the specifics of academic writing, also in relation to quoting other people's texts. The aim of the workshop is to provide guidelines for writing academic texts with different functions: describing, defining, summarising, comparing, arguing, persuading.

Art der Prüfung
In order to sit the examination, it is necessary to have completed all the exercises provided, so as to form the student's portfolio of activities. The examination will consist of writing an argumentative text in academic style from the documentation provided.

Bewertungskriterien
The final written test is assessed according to the following criteria: textual cohesion and coherence, clarity and communicative effectiveness, formal correctness.

Materials selected by the lecturer and made available during the course. Consultation of the manuals in the 'recommended bibliography' section is particularly recommended.
