Short bio

Isabel Barradas is a Research Assistant at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano since September 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Angelika Peer. Her project involves the modelling of emotions as a dynamic process by means of electrophysiological data. She completed an Integrated Master (BSc + MSc) in Biomedical and Biophysics Engineering from the University of Lisbon in 2018, with a specialization in Medical Signals and Images. Her Master's thesis was about new methods for the investigation of dynamics of functional magnetic resonance imaging data. It was developed at the Medical Image Processing Lab (EPFL and University of Geneva), under the supervision of Prof. Dimitri Van De Ville and Thomas Bolton. She also worked as an IT Consultant for a year and a half in Lisbon.
