The research activity of the occasional collaborator aims at developing and end-to-end framework for the classification of hyperspectral images for wood and fungi detection.
The occasional collaborator will develop an end-toend framework for the classification of hyper-spectral images in Matlab/Pytorch. The tasks to be carried out are:
- To implement a spatial and spectral classifier that classify hyperspectral images by taking into account the spatial and spectral information respectively.
- To design and compare different upsampling strategies to support the integration of the spatial and spectral classifier.
