Argomenti dell'insegnamento
The course is aimed at acquiring further language skills. A course in specific language for business students based on C1 (CEFR). The course focuses on the different language styles used in the fields of economics, politics and business administration and aims to improve students' receptive, but above all productive language skills in general (written and oral). Topics covered include an introduction to more complex grammatical structures used in this field and at this level, followed by practical applications. Another focus is on improving productive skills, especially writing skills, so that students can produce precise, coherent texts in German for professional use.

Attendance of course 27118 is recommended.

Modalità di insegnamento
Lessons in which the active participation of students is encouraged. The teaching method emphasises collaboration and student participation through individual, partner and group work.

Obiettivi formativi
ILO (Intended Learning Outcomes) ILO 1 Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: ILO 1.1 the ability to communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers on economic topics; ILO 2 Communication skills: ILO 2.1 fluency in spoken and written Italian, German and English, including translation of these languages. Intercultural competence. Conceptual conciseness, ability to capture facts in writing, especially for scientific and science-based texts

Modalità d'esame
The written examination tests reading and writing skills as well as vocabulary and grammar. The exam deals with a text and topic that was previously covered in the lecture. The written exam lasts a maximum of 90 minutes. The oral exam is a short discussion about the written exam (approx. 10-15 minutes). ILOs 1-5 assessed

Criteri di valutazione
Assessment: - 50 % written examination - 50 % oral examination The assessment criteria are the clarity of the answers, the command and correctness of the language according to level B2/C1, the ability to summarise and evaluate topics and make connections (argumentation).
