Short bio
Mohammad Shirdel is a PhD student at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Free University of Bolzano. His main research focus is on textual feature extraction and feature selection from news with a time series feedback to predict the stock market movements. In addition, he also has experience in information theory, underwater IoT, biomedical engineering and telecommunication engineering. The first two filled most of his time during his MSc at the Sapienza University of Rome while the latter ones were done during his BSc at Tehran Polytechnic.
